Chicago's very own Flame Monroe has been a fixture of the Chicago gay & lesbian community for many years. For the past 10 years, she has dazzled her audiences with her unique style for fashion and a her gift for comedy. Her talents have quickly earned her a permanent place in Chicago's entertainment circles.

After performing her comedy routines in local clubs around Chicago, Flame entered the Miller Draft Comedy Search contest where she place first-runner-up in 1995. Her performance in that contest gave her the exposure she needed to officially launch her career in comedy.

Flame has toured the county performing at the following comedy clubs as well as a host of AIDS related charity events and she is currently a featured guest at Chicago's Baton Show Lounge.
